New! Download a Dec. 7th Holiday Shopping Night Map (pdf)
There isn’t a more festive place than Bayfield during the holidays. Sparkling lights decorate this quaint little town, which rests on the shores of Lake Superior and welcomes visitors as the gateway to the Apostle Islands. Whether holiday shopping, celebrating with friends, or taking advantage of Bayfield’s wealth of outdoor activities, bring the entire family to experience the holiday magic that this historic fishing village has to offer.
The season officially begins with the town’s Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony from 4:30pm to 6:00pm on Saturday, November 24th. Enjoy holiday treats and warm beverages while listening to Christmas carols performed by the talented Rittenhouse Inn Singers in the Bayfield Lakeside Pavilion. Then, join in the procession as the crowd moves outside to serenade the holiday tree as it is ceremoniously lit for the season.
Don’t miss the Holiday Spirit Gallery Tour, December 1st from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Guests will enjoy demonstrations, refreshments, special promotions and sales at over seven local galleries, featuring handmade jewelry, pottery, paintings, quilting and more.
