Locally produced fruit and vegetables at their best
As Summer begins to wind down and the trees start to change color, so begins Bayfield's apple harvest. As early as the first week of September, Bayfield's many apple orchards offer more than a dozen varieties of apples.
Bayfield's apple orchards also sell many kinds of freshly grown produce such as pumpkins, squash, pears, herbs, blueberries, blackberries, honey, etc. You can find many of these items as well as a bevy of sweet treats, cider, caramel apples, and novelty items at the many wonderful orchard retail shops.
Or join in the fun by picking apples for your own baking and of course for enjoying as a snack. If you're not interested in picking your own, most of Bayfield's orchards offer ready picked as well.
