50th Annual Bayfield Apple Festival button design unveiled The Bayfield Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Bureau is pleased to announce the winner of the 2011 Apple Festival button design contest, Becky Driscoll, a native of Janesville, WI. Ms. Driscoll is a freelance illustrator by trade. She has been drawing since her youth, and knew early on that it was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. Being a nature-lover, the Wisconsin outdoors has always influenced her illustrations, especially the Great Lakes. Driscoll's inspiration for the 50th Annual Apple Festival button design came from the beauty of Bayfield's fall colors and scenery. Her classic piece is a combination of watercolor and colored pencil, with some digital additions in Photoshop. The button, available in mid-July at the Bayfield Chamber, will be showcased in a larger 3 inch size in honor of the 50th celebration. The Bayfield Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Bureau received entries from throughout the Midwest in this year's Apple Festival button design contest. The winning artwork was selected by the Bayfield Chamber Orchard Marketing Committee.
