Bayfield seeks nominees for Apple Festival Grand Marshals

Do you know a resident of the Bayfield area who stands out as a special community member? Perhaps she is a local business owner who gives back to the community or a neighbor who is always volunteering his time and skills. Now is your chance to show your appreciation for their contribution. The Bayfield Apple Festival Committee is seeking nominations for the 2010 Apple Festival Parade Grand Marshal. Submissions will be accepted through August 20th, must be in writing, and must include the nominee's name(s), address, telephone number and the reason for the nomination.

A qualified Grand Marshal candidate must be a Bayfield area resident who has made a positive contribution to the Bayfield community. Duties of the 2010 Apple Festival Parade Grand Marshal include an appearance at the Senior Social as well as leading the Grand Parade. In 2009, Jim & Muriel Erickson, owners of James Erickson Orchard and Country Store, were honored as the Apple Festival Grand Marshals.
