Bayfield Race Week & Independence Day Events
Sailing among the Apostle Islands has been written up as an experience not to be missed, and next week is no exception. This
year marks the 29th Annual Bayfield Race Week Regatta from June 30th through July 4th. Over 30 boats will be participating in eight different races in all. In conjunction with the races, this year Bayfield is host to Sailfest 2008. This is a family-oriented opportunity for a fun, stress-free sailboat racing experience. It’s all about having fun and learning about the pleasures of sailing and sailing fast with an objective. This fun-filled event will be held at Pike's Bay Marina on July 4th and 5th.
