This special area offers an astounding variety of berries, beginning now with strawberries and running through August and September with blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Fruit afficianados will be delighted to find sweet and tart cherries, currants, juneberries and gooseberries among the seasonal harvest. Come enjoy the hands-on experience of picking berries in the field or purchase them already picked for immediate snacking opportunity. You'll soon discover why berry picking in Bayfield is a popular summer ritual amongst the scenic backdrop of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands.
