Ready & Open Toolkit

Dear Bayfield Business Community,

The Bayfield Chamber & Visitor Bureau recognizes how difficult it is to stay up-to-date on the many regulations (or lack thereof). We’ll continue to communicate best business practices as they develop. For now, we need to focus and plan for a successful recovery, together. READY & OPEN unites us, much like the red Open flags flying in your storefronts.

Look through this toolkit and use the elements that work best for your business. Show the community and visitors that we have a solid plan, and we are ready to provide a safe Bayfield Experience. In the spirit of Wisconsin progress, let’s stand together and move FORWARD!

What is Bayfield’s READY & OPEN campaign?

The Bayfield Chamber & Visitor Bureau developed the READY & OPEN campaign to support Bayfield businesses with communicating to the community regarding safety best-practices adopted in response to COVID-19. Our top priority is the safety of community, employees, and visitors. In support of the State of Wisconsin’s ‘Turn the Dial’ order, the business community of Bayfield stands ready to move towards a thriving economic environment while protecting against the renewed spread of coronavirus.

The READY & OPEN campaign is not a regulatory effort. Our role is simply to support and assist member businesses by providing a marketing platform by which each business can highlight its safety efforts during this time. Each participating business is responsible and accountable for its own actions, efforts, and representations made in connection with the READY & OPEN campaign. While compliance is expected, the Bayfield Chamber & Visitor Bureau cannot and does not guarantee that any particular business is employing or undertaking any particular safety measures.

These READY & OPEN recommendations can and will change. This campaign is merely a simplified version of federal, state, and local guidelines. It is the responsibility of each individual business to research industry-specific safety measures. We have provided resources on our website, bayfield.org, for your review.
