  • Hiking - Explore miles of hiking trails across the Bayfield Peninsula with stunning views of Lake Superior and brownstone rock formations. 

  • Historic Downtown Bayfield - Stop in one of the many local shops and pick up items you won’t find anywhere else. After your shopping adventure, quench your thirst and grab a bite to eat at one of the fine dining establishments in downtown. 

  • Legendary Waters Resort and Casino - Million dollar views of Lake Superior throughout the facility make this facility a must stop.

  • Madeline Island - Hike, bike or drive around the largest of the Apostle Islands. 

  • Madeline Island Ferry Line - Walk, bike, or drive on board the Madeline Island Ferry which shuttles between Madeline Island and Bayfield. 

  • Mt. Ashwabay - Explore more than 40 kilometers of nordic ski trails or grab the family for some alpine skiing. Fat bike or hike the trails in spring, summer and fall. 

  • Sailing - Charter a boat for an afternoon of cruising around the Apostle Islands
