The Romance– There is no doubt that Bayfield is a very romantic destination. Named the most romantic town in Wisconsin by Discover Wisconsin, Bayfield is perfect for honeymoons, weddings, elopements and getaways. Just last week, Pastor Weber of Happy Feet Weddings performed a ceremony for one such couple who came to the area exactly for that reason. They wanted their wedding to be romantic and intimate, and knew that the Bayfield was just what they were looking for.
The Options- With so many bed and breakfasts, day-spas, orchards and outdoor adventures, the Bayfield area will not leave you bored! Old Rittenhouse Inn has elopement, vow renewal and honeymoon packages and will take care of all the details for your stay! If getting married on a boat is more your style, charters such as Manitou Sailing Charters and PMG Charters can take you out on the water and marry you amongst the Apostle Islands.
The Vendors- Although Bayfield may be a small Wisconsin town, it has a wide array of wedding vendors right here for you to choose from. Lace & Brass Events is a local wedding and event planner, who will plan an elopement for you – from hiring your officiant, photographer and ceremony music, to ordering your bouquet and making dinner reservations for after your ceremony.
The Freedom- Small, intimate elopements allow you to break free from typical wedding traditions. You are able to make your elopement exactly what you would like it to be – whether it’s just the two of you or includes your immediate family and friends. Elopements can be simple enough that you only need a week or few to plan it – not 2 years! Hannah Stonehouse Hudson, who took the elopement photos seen above, was contacted only days beforehand!
